TIME OF THE TESTAMENT BLOG !

In the ancient land of Nod which was east of Eden, Cain built the first city naming it Enoch after his son after his exile for murdering Abel. It was the first human settlement and was rooted in violence.

Michael and Gabriel are the high Archangels. Michael is mainly the protector and Gabriel is mainly the messenger.

I tried to write my story on two levels, if you didn’t know anything about the Genesis history you could enjoy it on the adventure level, but if you happen to really know about the history you will see that I kept a lot of things as close as I could to the events that happened.

In my first chapter I show Enoch son of Jared at the end of his life. From childhood to old age you learn of how he lived and who he loved. And right before he is about to take his last breath an angel comes to him and says your life is about to begin and takes him on his adventure. The actual story is a man who was so good that he went straight to heaven after he died. So I said to myself he could have gone on this adventure, and then go straight to heaven.

I was always fascinated by the sealing of the entrance to the Garden of Eden and how it was sealed. So in my story the forces of evil have been plotting to get back into the Garden of Eden since it was sealed from the time in which Adam and Eve were expelled.

I wanted my story to take place around the events of these times. I also wanted to go to places that I've always wanted to see. I also didn't want to offend anyone about any artistic license I took to make my story work. In short I had to make clear that this is not a text book this is an adventure fantasy book. If it sparked interest in someone to enjoy the book and go out and learn the factual history then I reached my goal and I'm happy.

When I was thinking where and when do I want my adventure to take place, I struggled. Then I was reading Genesis and saw early between creation and the flood thousands of years passed and I said this is it, in this time. Even with time travel I stay in this frame.

When I was deciding who my main characters should be I discovered Enoch son of Jared, a man so good that he went straight to heaven. Then I discovered Enoch Son of Cain, the son of the first murderer who ever lived and I said to myself there it is. Enoch son of Cain and Enoch son of Jared

What is this story actually about? This is just a snapshot to what's really happening in this story. The survival of mankind is put on the shoulders of Enoch son of Jared along with his eyes being opened to the burdens of the truth of life and things to come. Enoch son of Cain marked as the son of the first murderer who ever lived, tries to reclaim to what he feels belongs to him and makes a deal that will forever change his destiny. Yet above both is the timeless war of good

Enoch son of Jared travels to ancient lands and beyond to re-enter the Garden of Eden to save mankind from Enoch son of Cain....
